My Backpack comprises of:
- workshop programme for groups of foster children ages 4 – 12 years witin foster care organisations
- an animated storytelling computerprogramme through which children together with their social worker will make up the story of the duck leaving the duck family and moving to the dog house and all what happened during that journey.

Costs of Backpack: € 17,50 each plus admin and mailing costs.
Apart from the workshop and the materials for the children we developed a training programme for social workers on how to speak with young children about trauma. This training is supported by a documentary in which the team explains and demonstrates working with the materials. For the methodology is a handbook available with a step-by-step explanation about the project and its theoretical background.
The Computerprogramme, the handbook and the workshop materials can be downloaded by the staff of organisations where My Backpack is introduced with training. For this part of the website a login code is required that will be given to My Backpack participants. Organisations need to appoint a coordinator for the programme and pay a small annual fee for use of the website and materials what helps us to improve and further develop the programma.
